Purpose

This knowledge builder considers renewable energy development, including technologies such as onshore wind generation, hydro, photovoltaics, passive solar, biomass and energy crops, energy from waste (but not from incineration of domestic waste), and landfill and sewage gas. It does not consider offshore renewable energy generation.
